visita a la regi\u00f3n vitivin\u00edcola m\u00e1s antigua del mundo&nbsp; -Denominaci\u00f3n de Origen <strong>Douro e Porto, <\/strong>regi\u00f3n vinatera del Douro demarcada y delimitada desde 1756 \u2013 que culmin\u00f3 con este encuentro entre los mejores chefs y en\u00f3logos de Portugal, &nbsp;celebrado el pasado 5 de Julio en el majestuoso <strong>Palacio do Freixo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" celebrarse un a\u00f1o m\u00e1s &#8211; en su quinta edici\u00f3n este 2021- a orillas del final de trayecto de nuestro ib\u00e9rico r\u00edo Duero, donde se ubica esta posada hist\u00f3rica declarada monumento nacional, palacio barroco del siglo XVIII dise\u00f1ado por el arquitecto y visionario italiano Nicolau Nasoni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con cuidada gastronom\u00eda y muestra de vinos de Portugal, como iniciativa de m\u00e1ximo nivel gestionada por <strong>Mario Rodrigues<\/strong>, periodista creador de la plataforma gastron\u00f3mica digital <a href=\"https:\/\/alivetaste.com\/\">A&#8217;live Taste<\/a>, apoyada por <strong>Turismo de Portugal<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitportoandnorth.travel\/\">Turismo de Portugal (Turismo de Porto e Norte)<\/a> e <a href=\"https:\/\/www.viniportugal.pt\/\">ViniPortugal<\/a> (poner enlaces), instituci\u00f3n esta \u00faltima que cont\u00f3 con la especial atenci\u00f3n de su Presidente, <strong>Frederico Falc\u00e3o<\/strong>, dedicada a la prensa extranjera invitada en esta ocasi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ALIVETASTE-SABORES DA VIDA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con el arte del buen recibir portugu\u00e9s, los invitados (chefs, en\u00f3logos, empresarios y prensa del sector) pudimos conocer y degustar los mejores vinos de las denominaciones de origen de <strong>Azores, Alentejo, Algarve, Bairrada, Beira Interior, D\u00e3o, Douro, Lisboa-Colares, Set\u00fabal, Tavora-Varossa, Tejo, Tras-os-Montes<\/strong> e <strong>Vinho Verde <\/strong>armonizados con las creaciones provenientes de restaurantes com el de <strong>Pestana Palacio do Freixo, Indiferente, VilaFoz Hotel &amp; Spa, Le Monument, Paparico-Bras\u00e3o-Testo y Atrevo<\/strong>, de Oporto, y <strong>Sala, Nobre, Faz Figura<\/strong>, de Lisboa, junto a otros diez participantes de diferentes ciudades. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante la jornada previa al evento viajamos en tren con un precioso recorrido <strong>Porto-R\u00e9gua-Pinh\u00e3o<\/strong> y realizamos una visita a la fabulosa <strong>Quinta de Bomfim<\/strong>, propiedad de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.symington.com\/\">Symington Family Estates<\/a>, almorzamos en un restaurante de la propiedad con vistas al sobrecogedor valle del Douro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La familia Symington, de origen brit\u00e1nico y portugu\u00e9s, ya en su quinta generaci\u00f3n lidera los portos premium de <strong>Graham\u2019s, Dow\u2019s, Warre\u2019s y Corkburn<\/strong> y Douros procedentes de 26 quintas del valle, as\u00ed como el famoso y m\u00e1s extenso vi\u00f1edo de la <strong>Quinta de Vesuvio <\/strong>en el Douro Superior y una m\u00e1s reciente en el Alto Alentejo, subregi\u00f3n de Portalegre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Concluye el d\u00eda ya de vuelta en Oporto, cruzando a <strong>Vila Nova de Gaia<\/strong> para cenar en <strong>Uva by C\u00e1lem<\/strong>, junto a la casa del mismo nombre perteneciente al grupo <strong>Sogevinus<\/strong>, del que degustamos blanco, tinto y portos de su otra afamada casa <strong>Kopke<\/strong>, armonizados con una excelente degustaci\u00f3n con un men\u00fa en el que destaca el pescado fresco de lo mejor de la zona, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chefantoniovieira.com\/uvabycalem\">Uva by Calem-Chef Ant\u00f3nio Vieira<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A la ma\u00f1ana siguiente, previa celebraci\u00f3n del evento <strong>AliveTaste-Sabores da Vida<\/strong>, nos dirigimos a conocer el espectacular espacio <strong>WOW<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/wow.pt\/\">WOW-The World of Wine<\/a>, antiguos almacenes del vino de Porto genialmente rehabilitados y reconvertidos museos experienciales de primer nivel mundial \u2013 con una inversi\u00f3n de 100 millones de euros, por iniciativa privada del grupo The Fladgate Partnership (Caves Taylors, hotel The Yeatman, etc.) &#8211; en torno a las tem\u00e1ticas: <strong>Vino, Corcho, Chocolate, Vestimenta<\/strong> e <strong>Historia de la
